Physiotherapists are allied health professionals which help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. Our physiotherapists see people of all ages, helping them to reduce pain and enhance their physical function. Our physiotherapists will work with you so that you can achieve the goals most important to you; whether it’s supporting your injury recovery to complete a marathon, or just improving your ability to bend, squat and crouch with less pain and stiffness when gardening!

WHAT WE TREAT

Physiotherapists at BodyMatters Clinic are experienced in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions (including neck and back pain, sport injuries) using a variety of treatment approaches ranging form manual therapy (soft tissue stretching, massage and joint mobilisation), acupuncture/dry needling, rehabilitative exercise, and educational approaches to enhance your skills, knowledge and confidence to self-manage your problem yourself.

Registered Health Professions

Our physiotherapists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and are registered with most major private healthcare insurance companies.

Effective Treatment

The effectiveness of Physiotherapy treatment has been recognised by The National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE).

Insurance

Most private and medical insurance schemes incl. AVIVA, CIGNA, SIMPLY HEALTH and VITALITY cover osteopathy but individual policies may vary. Some insurance companies require a referral from your doctor. Should you like to be treated under insurance cover, please contact your insurer to find out their requirements and notify reception when making your booking.

If you need to cancel your treatment, we ask that you give us 24 hours notice or the full cost of the treatment might be charged.
